We believe that to better understand the needs of our growers, and to bring a steady shipment of high-quality berries to market, we should be growers ourselves. So that is exactly what we are. It has allowed us to be more innovative in our growing methods, more reliable in providing berries and more flexible in serving our customers.

The majority of our blackberries are grown in Georgia and North Carolina utilizing unique varieties developed by University of Arkansas researchers, allowing us to provide fruit from June through September. We continue to extend our growing season with new varieties of great-tasting blackberries now being nurtured by university researchers. |

SunnyRidge entered the Florida strawberry market in 2008 allowing us to provide the convenience of ‘one-stop shopping’ to our customers who were looking for the same level of quality and service in strawberries that they received with our other berries. Being headquartered in Florida’s strawberry growing country made our decision even easier. We now supply strawberries from November to March with our highest volume coming during the later months
of the growing season. |

We are always actively looking for new farming opportunities throughout the United States and Canada, opening new farms and creating new relationships with quality-minded growers.
As our farms grow, we will also add new distribution and packing facilities. We will continue to develop new varieties that thrive in different climates, extending our season and continuing to deliver a sweeter, bigger berry during key growing windows.
When it comes to the future, you could safely say that SunnyRidge Farm is always growing in new ways to serve our customers and better the berry industry.

At SunnyRidge, we continually search for innovative ways to produce even more great-tasting berries year-round for our customers.
On our farms, we test new varieties of berries from various universities and breeding programs. Our close relationships with these breeders allows us to test new varieties in different environments prior to being released. We also perform agronomic farm experiments in an effort to become even more efficient and productive, such as converting to a drip irrigation system to reduce water usage.
Innovation will always play a big role at SunnyRidge…right down to the smallest detail.
